I think VLC Player is the best. I never failed to open any kind of format of videos with it, I wonder how they do it so successfully.

Thanks for providing a good list of free softwares. I was looking for a media player as my player does not support some video formats. Now I got it, yeah the VLC player. Thank you for your share.

@ Litrenta, yeah, I am using Notepad ++ for around one year. Really good one and saves a lot of time. The good feature is the interface. Really easy to use for programmers like me. I am using this than dreamweaver.

The free VLC media player I downloaded from file hippo is absolutely nice. It plays almost all the formats and I found it more useful. good post.

I am using Notepad++ software version 5.3.1. It is a very useful tool for business purposes than ordinary notepad. Also about PeerGuardian, the wonderful antihacking tool I have ever seen.

I agree with you. But one thing is that free softwares do not have that much access previleges as commercial softwares have. Commercial softwares are giving value to money and shows the skills of the programmer.
